In Remembrance...

WWJD Moment: When God places people in your path who are in need, the first thing to do is assess the situation, ask yourself: Is this a repetitive motion, have I been down this path and have I played the "bailout game" (everytime they need something, is the ONLY time my phone rings, and they are on the other end)? If no, then proceed to question two, do I have in my capacity what it is that this individual may be in need of, or do I know someone who can assist me in helping them? If the answer is yes, then proceed to the third and final question, What Would Jesus Do? And the answer to that question is obvious, HELP THEM....Often times, we pass these moments, being too caught up in and on self...what needs to be done, how we are feeling, "why me", what we could be doing with our time, etc. etc. etc. But in this, we forget that God placed us ALL under one umbrella called EARTH...and he placed us here to learn how to get closer to him and give to one another and share with one another as we roam this place. Never not once did it say "turn your back on your brother" in the best book ever written. So, why we continue to do so, is humanistic failure...which calls for a re-boot in our Christian duty. Don't look past a situation, or circumstance because you're too busy or selfish in your own business. Because the next time we need Jesus, he may recall that moment when you were too busy. And don't do it with the expecation of a blessing, do it because God's word tells you to and He is your father who sits high and looks low and covers you on everything in between, just cuz you call his name...simply. I'm not going to preach a sermon, although I very well could, but my moral is this and then I will be out of your way and you can go back to checking, liking, and reposting stats of events, parties, and what your favorite celebrity has said or tweeted in the past hour....know that God is watching your decisions, both internal and external, and know that the person you see everyday, who may be silently struggling, and internally you feel something pulling at your heart strings, and your gut is screaming, "do what needs to be done", listen to those instincts...you never know you may be just what was needed. Be that light in their darkness God has called you to be...theres a humility within this process that i believe the world needs a little more of...
"Do This In Remembrance of Me"

Peace and Blessings
